Uppsala – Day 2

Yesterday it was warm and sunny so I decided to take a (long) walk through the city. But before that I learned how to play Kubb, a Swedish lawn game.

Afterwards I walked down the Fyris river (Fyrisån)…

… and back to get to the castle which is located on top of a small hill. You can see the botanic gardens from the courtyard.

It seems like Sweden is a biking nation. Everybody is cycling around – I hope it will be the same in Vienna in the future!

At the university I discovered the Swedish version of Lost+Found… (gloves on a string)

Back in the city centre I joined the local students on the waterside promenade to relax and take a little sunbath.
